About the Role

NWU invites educators with outstanding educational backgrounds and expertise in English language education to join our education team as an English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor. We are committed to providing high-quality English language education to students and helping them make significant progress in their English communication skills. We are looking for enthusiastic educators to support our ESL program and nurture students with fluent spoken and written English.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree: Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree, and a bachelor's degree in English education, applied linguistics, or related fields will be preferred.


Teaching Experience: Possess ESL teaching experience, including instruction for students of different ages and proficiency levels.


Teaching Aptitude: Have excellent teaching skills to inspire students' academic interests and improve their English proficiency.


Subject Knowledge: Possess expertise in the field of English language education, including grammar, writing, speaking, and listening skills.


Team Collaboration: Exhibit strong teamwork and communication skills, collaborating effectively with a diverse educational team.


Responsibilities and Opportunities:

  • Teach ESL courses covering various aspects of English language education, including grammar, writing, speaking, and listening skills.

  • Provide personalized English language learning support to students, helping them enhance their English communication abilities.

  • Participate in ESL course development and improvement to ensure course content meets students' needs.

  • Engage in academic research and professional development to continuously enhance your own educational expertise.
